blog enhancement.

can any of you enhance this blog a bit? erm align the header or find some picture that is more suitable perhaps. add some things la like calendar, reminders, etc..pls pls.. who ever it is that is gonna be doin it u will be granted the position as system designer..hahaha..only if i approve the blog design ah..hehe..try to make our blog look professional and have a commercial value so that its easier to market..put that in mind ya..thanx.

Team breakdown.

The team breakdown is as follows:

1. requirements analyst ( tasya + as)
2. system designer ( angie + aishah)
3. program designer & implementation (ruzaini+halim )
4. test unit & maintainence (all)

our group consist of 6 people and most probably these jobs are gonna be assign to more than just one person. as for the requirements analyst(R.A), tasya has already taken that job so any one of u who wants to join her pls do so.. as for the R.A, u will always be in contact wit our client which in this case is our lecturer.

you(R.A) are the most important part for the project to start as we need the requirements to produce prototypes (if possible) for further requirements( if they need to be added). after you have collect the requirements, you will need to review it and make a specification for technical use which is the programmers of the product. you will also produce a documentation for your client so that they know wat to expect from us ( deliverables ). The client will validate and verify those requirements. So by the end of all of this requirements elicitation, we will produce a proper SRS which is also one of our deliverables.

i'm only gonna explain the task for the requirements analysts. if u need more info, i believe there is more in the text book coz that is where i got this info from..but in case i miss out something or i've explain wrongly pls do refer to the book. as for now we need to get the R.A to get all the requirements and also we need to figure out which process model we want to use. as for the rest of the job tasks i will discuss on our meeting or maybe post it in here. i cant have a proper meeting wit all of u due to our timetable and others.. so i will meet up wit each of u personally to discuss bout this and also our presentation tmrw.

hello my fellow members,
how was ur classes and all? penat ke? hehe..as for me i am very busy with my other projects and also assignments sampai i have no time to eat..or rest..
anyways first things first i'm gonna talk about our presentation on tuesday.
basically during the presentation we are going to talk about our blog. questions to be considered being asked are like :-
1. why we choose blogspot?
2. why did we use the template that we are using now? since the wall paper has been changed we need a reason on why we are using that wall paper?
3. why we use the logos that we use?
4. how can all of this attributes that enhances our blog help the marketibility of our product?
5. we need to consider the GUI and the HCI of our blog.

hmm..what else ah? if u can think of any other possible question that are going to be asked to us during the presentation please post ok.. and i still haven't got any volunteers on what or which department you guys wanna fall into during the 'making' of our project..I don't want to be the telling you guys what to do.. so if you have any extra skills or what so ever please tell.. as for the presentation we will try and if can we will discuss this on MONDAY. anyways i'm happy to see changes in the blog..good job everyone..and i suppose we are all aware that all of us are busy wit other projects and assignments and other society stuff so that's why our previous discussion was kinda short. basically i wanna post up a timeline for our project and job distribution list for all of us but i didnt have time to do it last nite..so maybe i'll post it by tonite and before that maybe sum of you wanna volunteer on wat job you wanna do for this project? paham ke ayat saya nie? hehe basically we need someone to design the portal, collect and analyze the requirements from our lecturer and the rest i need u all to think lagi ok..ape yg kite perlu utk project nie..so hope to see more post from u all.. i gtg for class now..later ya guys..

The advantages and disadvantages of waterfall model...

Advantages
If our Requirements are constant means there is no chance of changing of requirement means before going to Development we can freeze the requirements then it is a best model. and as it is the simplest model so if we will use this model then it is cost saving also.....

Disadvantages
If our Requirements are not constant means there is some chance of changing the requirements in between then it is not the better practice to use this one
Lastly keep one thing in mind that before going for this model WE SHOULD FREEZE THE REQUIREMENTS.....

Hello again, yes it's me..hehehe

This whole week has been hectic and a bit unorganized. So far I'm the only one that's been posting and after this week I want to make it in such a way that each member must at least post one blog per week. So hopefully once I get my members details, I'll organize our first meeting. Aiyo..first meeting also we haven't do.. it's been a bad start for us but hopefully after this everything will be more organized. I'm keeping my fingers crossed..till then.

This is new for me and perhaps for my other team members as well to blog. I've often hear ppl blogging their life journey, experience etc and i still dont see the purpose in doing so..well maybe this could change my mind set and what i think of all the addicted bloggers world wide.

Well to start things off we started this blog to fill the requirements of our assignment..class CSEB 233: Fundamentals of Software Engineering..which the first step requires us to start a blog..duh! i asked a question to my lecturer wether or not to make a blog(yes make as in start from scratch) or do i subscribe to any weblog provider. it just didnt cross my mind to just subscribe..sigh..funny..

So here i am writing my first ever post and yes we will keep on updating this blog with our progress on our assignments and other interesting stuff regarding it. Oh yes, i almost forgot to tell the details about me self and also my team members...nah ..you can just check our profiles..hehehe..enjoy and have a nice day ahead!
